(at around 1h 25 mins) When Thanos and Gamora meet Red Skull on planet Vormir, Red Skull salutes him as "Thanos, son of A'lars". In the original comics, A'lars was Greek God Zeus' younger brother, who was exiled of Olympus by Zeus due to his pacifism. Traveling across outer space, A'lars arrived at Titan, Saturn's moon, where he found a dying race named Eternals, falling in love of a woman named Sui-San. A'lars saved the remaining Eternals and rebuilt its civilization turning in its leader under the name of Mentor, having two children with Sui-San: older Thanos and younger Eros, who eventually turned in the Avengers' superhero Starfox.
