The title "White Collar" can be thought of as a double entendre: first as the type of criminals they pursue (criminals who use their professional life to steal and/or commit fraud), and as a description of Neal's new job at the FBI (belonging or pertaining to the ranks of office and professional workers whose jobs generally do not involve manual labor or the wearing of a uniform or work clothes) opposed to his "profession" of being a criminal.
