Paul Rudd's character makes many references to bands. Mainly the Pixies and their frontman, black francis/Frank Black. An abstract painting in his office displays members from the band Nirvana. Paul wears band t-shirts throughout the film, such as a Pavement tee and a Bob Mould tee. A majority of the bands mentioned within this movie are from the 90s.
