This film was originally set to debut on Paramount+ just 45 days after being released in theatres, around October 4, 2021, until it was eventually confirmed that the film would be released in theaters and on Paramount+ simultaneously on August 20, 2021, making it the first Paramount film (and also the first Nickelodeon film) to be released in theaters and on Paramount+ on the same day.
