The very first scene of the movie is the scene between John Cleese and Geoffrey Palmer. They both have appeared in James Bond films. Cleese appeared in Il mondo non basta (1999) and La morte può attendere (2002) and Palmer appeared in Il domani non muore mai (1997). The previous movie in the series La pantera rosa (2006) spoofed the character of James Bond John Cleese and Geoffrey Palmer appeared together in Fawlty Towers (1975-1979) in the episode 'The Kipper And The Corpse' (1979).
