On Saturday, 8th January 2022, the day before Series 2 launched in the U.S., Channel 5 Television announced that it has commissioned production company Playground to produce two further series of the popular drama. Series three and four will both consist of 6-episodes plus a Christmas Special episode. Filming on Series 3 is scheduled to commence in Spring 2022. The new version of the classic series continues to be one of the most watched programmes in the channel's 25+ year history.
