Just before Vince is killed outside of the club, Ghostface baits him by turning on the high beam headlights of Vince's car and blaring loud music from the radio. Since the Scream franchise pays homage to the horror genre, this could be seen as a nod to the 1983 horror film "John Carpenter's Christine". Adapted from the Stephen King novel, Christine is a haunted car that kills people. In both the novel and film, when Christine runs over and kills Moochie Welch, she pins him with her high beam headlights and blares music from her radio.
