The airplane at the beginning of the movie is under the name McGuffin 1138. "McGuffin" is the cinematic and literary name given to an object or person which is of vital importance to the characters, but whose actual function is immaterial to the plot. "1138" is a reference to L'uomo che fuggì dal futuro (1971).
