Ed Begley Junior appeared in the 1979 episode "What Do You Do With A Drunken Sailor?" alongside series star Michael Mckean who played Lenny on this show. (Both characters played goofy suitors of Laverne). The two would co-star decades later as attorneys on the hit streaming Netflix series "Better Call Saul."
