Pretty much everyone who worked with Lucy thought she was abusive. That is except for Carol Burnett, Gale Gordon and William Frawley. Carol Burnett was almost BFF with Lucy, but she did admit Lucy had a tough side. In interviews she would say Lucy had a tough side because she had to be like that to successfully run her show, but she was just being honest. Lucille notoriously favored and doted on Gale Gordon; if she was abusive with everyone else she worshipped the ground he walked on. And ironically, though she fought with everyone else, she was thick as thieves with Bill Frawley. It was Vivian Vance Frawley hated.
