Unlike the first two films (Twilight and New Moon), this film does not contain a reference to the picture on the corresponding book cover. In Twilight, Edward catches Bella's apple in the canteen, and in New Moon, when Carlisle sets fire to blood and glass from the cut on Bella's arm, they form the shape and colour of the ruffled tulip on the book cover illustration.
