In season one, episode ten, when Fisk meets with Madame Gao on the rooftop garden, fans may recognize this from Spider-Man (2002) when Spidey rescues Mary Jane after the Green Goblin terrorizes the parade, he lands her on the same rooftop garden. Spider-Man and Daredevil are both Marvel enterprises, and as of Captain America: Civil War (2016), are officially in the same cinematic universe.
