Hector Williams' tombstone reads that he was born February 21, 1981 and died on November 6, 2007. This means SFC Williams was 26 years old when he was killed in action. His death qualified for burial in Arlington Cemetary, but his family chose instead to bury him in their family lot in Jaynesville, Wisconsin. His tombstone also had the epitaph: "Son, Brother, Soldier, Friend."
