Judy Norton admitted that she and some of her cast members who played her brothers and sisters were close friends with fellow child actor, Radames Pera who played young Kwai Chang Caine on Kung Fu The Series, since he was the only child actor on his series and since both shows were filmed at Warner Brothers studios. Judy said that she and the other Waltons kids would hang out with Radames when they were not filming scenes for both of their shows, she would often visit the set where they shot the Shaolin Monastery for Kung Fu when it wasn't being used during breaks from filming to fight boredom
