Not counting the films made from multiple episodes of a TV series, this is the second actual sequel to an English language Zorro film, as well as the second film where Zorro is played by the same actor. The first was Don Q Son of Zorro (1925) where Douglas Fairbanks reprised the role from the original Il segno di Zorro (1920).
