In Biography's "Facts of Life: Cast Confessions" documentary, Felice Schachter said she was initially very hurt when fired from Facts of Life; and took the news "personally." Later she said she "thanked God that it happened" because she was able to get a "full college experience," and this prepared her for a career in TV production, where she worked on shows like NBC's "Law and Order: SVU." Mindy Cohn commented on Felice Schachter's firing in the documentary, saying she felt Felice "got a bum deal."
