Pilot was a large "puppet" standing between six and eight feel tall from his waist. His head was three feet deep and two feet wide. At the time, it was the most sophisticated puppet built by Henson's Creature Shop. The entire puppet was controlled by a computer system allowing a single puppeteer to handle his movements.
