Mohan Kumar had a nervous break down during the filming. Seeing how bad his condition was,Rajendra Kumar told Mohan Kumar's wife to take Mohan to a medical clinic in Delhi. Rajendra knew that if Mohan Kumar canceled the schedule, he would endure heavy losses and would not be able to recover from it financially. Rajendra decided to be the team captain for 2 weeks. He acted, produced and directed the film in the absence of Mohan Kumar. Rajendra even stated they finished a 2 week schedule in 11 days due to his quick work and his ability of being a task master. When the film was complete,Rajendra took the film reels and presented them to Mohan Kumar. He stated the film was now complete. He may have not directed the film as good as he ( Mohan) would have, but they needed to finish the film and not bare any losses. Rajendra stated he treated every film he signed as his own home production.
