Granny Wendy is honored at a dinner when a wing of a children's hospital is to be named for her. Peter later says its the hospital at which he grew up as being on Great Ormond Street. J.M. Barrie donated the copyright to the Peter Pan books to the Great Ormond Street Hospital.
