When reintroduced in 2008 after a gap of two years, the character of Aaron Livesy (later Aaron Dingle) was aged by over a year in order to feature him in more adult storylines. Years later, the character of Chastity Dingle (Aaron's mother) was aged down in order to make the character pregnant, and again for the same reason the following year. If Aaron's and Chas's ages as of 2022 are taken as canonical, Chas was just 13 when she gave birth - despite original scripts stating she was married at the time.
