Janet Hubert played Aunt Vivian from Seasons 1-3. She left in 1994 due to growing tensions among her, the producers and Will Smith. The producers offered her a 12/25 contract for Season 4, but she declined. Daphne Reid replaced Hubert from Seasons 4-6.
