Every season, a major death occurs to someone whose name starts with the letter "B". In Season 1, the deaths are Benny (the restaurant owner who finds Eleven), Barb, and Dr. Brenner (who is actually still alive). In Season 2, the major death is Bob. In Season 3, a major death is Billy. In Season 4, Dr Benner actually dies this time.
