Ai confini della realtà : Will the Real Martian Please Stand Up? (1961) and Ai confini della realtà : The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street (1960) are essentially two versions of the same story - alien(s), always in humanoid form, hiding among or near humans preparatory to an invasion from outer space. The humans fail to identify the advance guard alien(s). In the latter episode, the aliens at the end explicitly point out how easy it is to manipulate human beings into using their worst qualities against themselves while their better instincts are submerged into fear and anger.
