Descendants of the real Solomon Lindo include Blanche Blackwell (Lindo). She was the last muse of Ian Fleming, sold him the land for his Goldeneye estate in Jamaica, and is the supposed inspiration for the character Pussy Galore in Goldfinger. Her son, Chris Blackwell, founded Island Records.
