In a deleted scene (which can be viewed on Youtube) after Lambert, Dallas and Kane are let back from the Quarantine onto the Nostromo by Ash, Lambert walks up and slaps Ripley, for keeping them locked outside like that. For some reason this was deleted from the final movie.
