Billy Bob Thornton makes a brief appearance in the film as a construction worker who heckles Shecky. How he came on to the film was that he was friends with writer-director Valerie Breiman. She told him she was making a movie and just asked him to come and heckle Adam Sandler and he said sure. He barely even remembers doing it.
