On one episode California: Fair Warning (1992), when Gary and Val moved back to the cul-de-sac, the writers wanted to include flashbacks like Richard Avery welcoming The Ewings's 1st night there at their new home, followed by Lilimae singing: "Shady Grove," also wishing their twin children: Betsy and Bobby "A Happy Birthday", probably because them moving back into the house on the cul-de-sac reminded Val and Gary of their first night, at the house, and all the memories the house held over the years.
