In one of the ending ruckus scenes, a lunch box is seen flying to the floor, with the title "Greetings from Asbury Park" on it. This was the debut studio album of Bruce Springsteen. Not only are Springsteen and DeVito very good friends, Danny, like Bruce, is a lifelong resident of Asbury Park, NJ.
