In the entire series, Ash has dressed up as a girl four times: the first time was in Pokémon: Erika and Kusaihana (Pokémon Scent-sation!) (1997), the second in Pokémon: Barubeat and Illumise! Dance of Love! (2003), the third in Pokémon: Miltank of the Maid Café! (2008) and the fourth time in Pokémon: The Most Magnificent Pokémon in the World!? Chillaccino VS Tsutarja! (2012). Each time Ash has crossdressed, he was never willing to do so and was coerced or forced into it in some fashion. The trend was broken in the XY Series when Ash did not crossdress.
