Una bionda per papà (1991) was Staci Keanan's third straight sitcom in a row. Keanan rose to fame in the 1987 NBC sitcom I miei due papà (1987), which ran for three seasons. She was then was cast in the Miller-Boyett series Going Places (1990), which aired on ABC's TGIF lineup for the 1990-91 season. When that series was cancelled, Miller-Boyett would replace it with Step By Step, which ran until 1998.
