Composer Alexandre Desplat's original score was rejected because of the extensive re-shoots to address the tone and story issues. This extended the post-production schedule, for which he was unavailable due to his commitments to Valerian e la città dei mille pianeti (2017). Michael Giacchino, his replacement, had only one month to write his musical score.
