In the final episode, Gus called his new boss, Mr. Richmond (Deon Richmond), "Bud". This was a nod to the character Richmond played on The Cosby Show (1984), Kenny a.k.a. Bud. This was also the culmination of a running gag, in which Shawn told people that Gus played Bud.
