In the first season, this show was originally titled as 'Grim and Evil', segments of episodes of both The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and Evil Con Carne. But after the first season, the show can be split into two, later changed to 'The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy' in the second season (and reruns of segment episodes from the first season of the original Grim and Evil) but lost to Evil Con Carne which features new segment episodes (and reruns of segment episodes from the original title) and new characters such as General Cod in the first season in 2003. The show's third season introduces Evil Con Carne characters, most notably General Skarr, who first appeared in a Billy and Mandy episode "Skarred for Life" was aired in June before his character in the spin-off show's second and final season was ended in October 2004. However, Hector, Boskov, Ghastly, General Cod, and Skarr made their final appearance in a crossover episode Le tenebrose avventure di Billy & Mandy: Company Halt/Anger Mismanagement (2007) (although Skarr's final cameo appearance was Le tenebrose avventure di Billy & Mandy: Wrath of the Spider Queen (2007) in one special episode).
