Olivia Jackson, the stunt woman for Nebula on the first movie, suffered a traumatic brain injury and a left arm injury that led to an amputation, as well as multiple fractures to the left side of her face, which required reconstructive surgery. These injuries occurred when she struck a misplaced camera crane while performing a motorcycle stunt during filming for Resident Evil: The Final Chapter (2016). Coincidentally, Nebula (in this movie and in Vol. 1) has a prosthetic left arm and reconstructed left side of her face.
