When this movie aired on TV3 in New Zealand on December 13, 2018, it had minor edits as it was given the 7:30 p.m. time-slot and was rated PGR Parental Guidance Recommended. The scene which James Bond (Pierce Brosnan) is seen in bed with Professor Inga Bergstrom (Cecilie Thomsen) was the only scene in this movie that was edited for the 7:30 p.m. broadcast. There is an alternate shot of Bond picking up and answering his mobile phone which is a close-up shot and Bond telling Miss Moneypenny (Samantha Bond) on the phone that he is at Oxford doing a Danish language lesson was removed, and it cuts from Bond saying "Ah! Moneypenny." to Moneypenny telling Bond to kiss off his lessons on the phone.
