In the Las Vegas destruction scene, two figures can seen standing on the exposed floor of a destroyed hotel. When this scene was seen in a trailer, some fans thought them to be an Easter egg, in the form of an homage to the Shobijin, the twin fairies who accompanied Mothra in earlier Toho Godzilla films. Turns out that they're firemen.
