For the UK release, fifteen frames (about 0.6s), in which Patrick Verona opens a butterfly knife as a show-off, were cut before the British Board of Film Classification would grant a 12 rating. This was restored for the 10th anniversary DVD release in 2010, the 12 certificate being given once again. Additionally, the black screen prior to the Touchstone Pictures logo was extended by around a second.
