The "Binary Sunset" theme, also considered "Luke's Theme" or "The Force Theme", was used in the previous movies of the saga as a leitmotif either for Luke Skywalker or, more in general, for the Jedi and the Light Side of the Force. In the soundtrack for The Rise of Skywalker, however, the theme loses its specific connotation and is used for all characters from the original trilogy, including those who are not Force-sensitive like Chewbacca, Lando and C-3PO.
