The show is rare among chat shows for letting the guests consume alcoholic beverages whilst on the couch, or non-alcoholic beverages, hence the various glassware and liquid colours on the table in front of the guests. Also, after the musical guest performs at the end of the show, they are also invited on to the couch, forming part of the group interview, along with a beverage of their choice, prior to all the guests hearing the Red Chair tales.
