Robbie Rist was considered for the role of Robbie Sinclair, but due to the productions ties with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, where Robbie Rist provided the voice of Michelangelo, it was decided to go in a different direction so the characters would not seem too reminiscent of one another.
