Executive producer Sarah Michelle Gellar was highly protective of her younger costars in this series. A staff member was reportedly fired due to inappropriate behavior during production. As described by herself in an interview, her work was "to set up an infrastructure for the younger cast. Something that I know for sure that I didn't have on any of my jobs."Note:the "inappropriate behavior"in question is that the staff member was offering one of the teenage actors unsolicited back rubs.
