Whether it was coincidence or tried and tested set design practice, the layout of the living room in the Girls' house is almost identical to that of Frasier Crane's apartment on Frasier (1993). The main door is on the left with a fireplace nearby, a large terrace area dominates the rear, there are corridors to bedrooms off to the left and right, and the kitchen is on the far right. The only difference is that Frasier's apartment had a bathroom immediately inside the main door.
