By a strange quirk of fate, Spice Williams-Crosby (who plays Vixis) would end up having another Star Trek connection by going on to marry the half-brother of Denise Crosby (Tasha Yar in Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987)) a few months after filming wrapped.
