The first season of the show is about a series of murders taking place 20 years after a crime. Jamie Lee Curtis, famous for her role in Halloween - La notte delle streghe (1978), starred in Halloween - 20 anni dopo (1998) which takes place 20 years after Michael Myers' original murders. The show also mirrors the first two Halloween movies by seasons. The first season revolves arond a house and neighborhood like in Halloween (1978). The second season takes place 30 years after a crime, in a hospital like Halloween 2 (1982.)
