This is the second film in which Rebecca Hall has appeared with a wife of Ryan Reynolds. Blake Lively has been married to Reynolds since 2012. Hall previously starred with Scarlett Johansson in Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008). Hall also starred with Scarlett Johansson in The Prestige (2006). Johansson was married to Reynolds from 2008 to 2011.
