A subplot of the film is that henchwoman Ms. B. Haven is in love with her boss, Mr. Freeze, and tries to seduce him. He keeps rejecting her advances because he is still in love with his wife. This plot is original to this film, and reinforces Mr. Freeze's obsessive devotion to his wife.
