The Aurora Teagarden mystery series is authored by Charlaine Harris, who wrote the wildly popular Sookie Stackhouse vampire books series, from which the True Blood (2008) series was developed. The Sookie Stackhouse books are on the end of the bookshelf in one of the library scenes.
