During the film a character named Léon is mentioned. Later in the movie Jean Reno appears as Victor; however in Luc Besson next film Jean Reno of course plays the famous "Léon: The Professional". Besson even described Léons character as "Now maybe Jean (Reno) is playing the American cousin of Victor. This time he's more human."
