Both Drew Goddard and Joss Whedon had contributed to Marvel. Goddard acted as the showrunner and creator of Marvel's Daredevil (2015-18) for Netflix. Whedon would serve as a writer and director for the Marvel Cinematic Universe films The Avengers (2012) and Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015). Whedon also served as the creator of the show Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (2013-2020) for ABC Television.
