The character of Lana Lang is for the third time portrayed as a brunette instead of a red-haired, as she is more traditionally depicted in the comics. Kristin Kreuk was a brunette on Smallville (2001), followed by Jadin Gould and Emily Peterson in the DC Extended Universe (as Amy Adams kept her trademark red-haired as Lois). Stacy Haiduk was the last actress to play a red-haired Lana Lang, in Superboy (1988).
